Reader Introductions

Many girls that receive the Issacharian Daughters Newsletter have sent us introductions, sharing a little about their family, where they live, what God is teaching them at the moment, and their future aspirations. It is our hope that through these introductions, many girls may be encouraged and find fellowship with each other.

Sarah Bryant : United States
Homepage: kingsbloomingrose.com

My name is Sarah Bryant. I have heard about Issacharian Daughters and your ministry several times, but only in the past few months did I check out your beautiful website. I was so excited because what you are doing here is similar to what I'd like to do with our ministry, The King's Blooming Rose (www.kingsbloomingrose.com) for young ladies. You have several different "branches" of ministry, which is what we are doing. We met the Botkins in person several years ago and have been blessed by their writings as well.
Genevieve, your testimony has been especially inspiring. To hear how drastically the Lord has changed your heart and turned it to your family since you were 20 has given such hope to me! I feel I have so much to grow in and I have so little time to do so; but the Lord's timing is perfect, and so I must trust in Him to change me... Thank you for sharing your heart with other ladies. You probably don't realize how much it means to girls younger than yourself to hear an older girl's story and encouragement. The work you are doing with your husband has been neat for our family to see, and spoke to me that I need to "strengthen my arms" for the work that I may not especially enjoy, but the Lord has given me to do.
We are in the process of publishing a book, entitled "The Family Daughter: Becoming Pillars of Strength in Our Father's House" (http://book.kingsbloomingrose.com). We have been publishing a small magazine for young ladies for four years now, and the Lord continues to open doors for growth (www.magazine.kingsbloomingrose.com). Your idea for a weekly newsletter is great!
Thank you for letting the Lord work in and through your life. It is already blessing me, and I know it has been so to so many other young ladies. I look forward to hearing from you through the newsletter!

Kedesh Marguerite Simmons : Swanson, Auckland, New Zealand

Greetings!
My name is Kedesh and I am priviledged to be the third daughter of Roger and Meryl, whom I fondly refer to as my best friends. I have six siblings: two older sisters, two younger brothers, and two younger sisters, whom I love dearly.
I delight in being a daughter at home, serving my Mum in the family home business, Shiloh Rabbits; helping to run the household which consists of meal preparation, housework, transporting my siblings, spending time with them, hostessing when we have visitors, helping to organize birthday parties, and various other activities.
I have been blessed to be home schooled,  was born at home, have never been to hospital, never been vaccinated, never been kissed (!), and we live debt free yet own our own beautiful home and land. "To whom much has been given, much will be required".
In addition to the above I am involved with the music team at my church (with my Dad and brother); a Christian dance and drama group, Voice Production Company; a Christian home school group (where I have also taught); I work 3-5 hours a week for a Christian friend up the road who runs a cattery; and baby-sit for various families. I strive to follow where my Lord leads.
I'm passionate about the restoration of the biblical family unit; homemaking; the Bible; dance; drama; singing; health (spiritual, emotional, and physical); hiking; children; creativity; hospitality; and reading, etc.
Please feel free to email me. I love to connect up with other daughters with similar values!
I am a sinner, saved by God's amazing grace. He is doing a work within me, refining me and teaching me His Ways and His Will for my life. He is my Jehovah Ishi, the Lord my Husband. He is the Lover of my soul. "I delight to do His will".
May the Lord bless you richly.
In Him,
             Kedesh

Autumn Bear : Blue Springs,MO, USA
Homepage: wwww.mycmsite.com/autumnbear

I am a blessed wife and mother of three arrows.  My God has been merciful to show me the wickedness of my life in time to yield myself to His transforming power in order to train daughters in the truth of His Word and to learn His ways in blessing my husband's vision.  I have already been greatly blessed by the letters of Genevieve and challenged to greater godliness.

The Lord has been blessing me so much throught the different challenges that come up through this area of ministry! He is a wonderful friend to have!  I look forward to recieving the Issacharian Newsletters, thanks Genevieve!
